The partner owners call when the numbers slip

Bayleaf Services was founded by operators, for operators. Our founders ran hotel front desks and restaurant kitchens before they ever consulted, and they built the firm they needed then: a back-of-house operations partner that quietly fixes what breaks independent hospitality businesses — labor scheduling, vendor contracts, POS integrations, linen programs, and the dozens of small leaks that drain a good room's margins.

We work with 600+ independent hotels and restaurants across North America and the Caribbean. Independents are our entire client base: chains have corporate departments; the chef-owner with 40 seats and the innkeeper with 28 rooms have us.

How an engagement works

  • The BOH Audit: our proprietary framework, used across 1,840+ properties, maps where money leaks — labor, purchasing, waste, technology, and the guest-facing details that signal all of the above.
  • Implementation, not just findings: we rebuild schedules, renegotiate vendor contracts, and integrate your POS, reservation, and property systems so data stops living in silos.
  • Handover: your managers run the improved operation themselves, with documentation and training — no permanent dependence on us.

We speak the platforms your team already uses — Toast, Lightspeed, Opera — and we know linen invoice math as well as we know labor-law scheduling constraints, because both show up on the same P&L.

Why 'quietly'

Guests should never feel our presence. Good operations work is invisible: the breakfast station that stopped running out, the invoice that stopped arriving wrong, the schedule that finally matches the covers forecast. Owners feel it where it counts — in the margin left at month's end.

Bayleaf Services is hospitality operations consulting for independent hotels and restaurants: audited findings, implemented fixes, and margins that finally match the quality of the food and stay. Your kitchen earns it; we make sure you keep it.
